We are delighted to finally start our journey with Halo! We donated a few packs of reusable sanitary pads today, which we hope is the first of many donations! You can help women in need by donating a menstrual cup. Please click the link below: https://www.ecoladies.com.au/collections/gift-collection/products/donate-a-menstrual-cup You can find lots more about Halo and the fantastic work they do in our local area: http://www.haloteaminc.org.au/
Did you know our sanitary towels can be wrapped up to a pocket sized disguise? Simply roll up the sanitary towel from each end into the centre and then fasten together. Perfect for those moments when you need to sneak to the bathroom without making things obvious!
Mark McGowan our State Premier in WA announced they will ban single-use plastic plates, cutlery, stirrers, straws, thick plastic bags, polystyrene food containers, and helium balloon releases by 2023. And they won’t stop there. In a second stage (2024-2026), the state will ban single-use plastic barrier/produce bags, microbeads, polystyrene packaging, cotton buds with plastic shafts and oxo-degradable plastics. This is fantastic news, as consumers we can stop buying them sooner but we are thrilled some systemic changes are happening!!
